About
Meet Owner Paul Davis
Licensed General Contractor
Paul Davis is a lifelong resident of Greensboro, NC, a married father of two teenaged sons, and a 1993 graduate of Hampden Sydney College. As a teenager himself, Paul worked many summers in the construction industry, setting his career path in motion. Starting as a project coordinator in multi-family development and then spending five years as a framing subcontractor, Paul really cut his teeth as a superintendent for a custom home builder managing the construction of more than 40 luxury homes.
As a licensed general contractor, Paul founded Barksdale Builders, LLC in 2001. He successfully built, renovated, and flipped more than 200 homes and townhomes in Greensboro, Burlington, and Pinehurst. When the 2008 recession impacted home construction in the region, Paul switched gears and managed the development and construction of 1,200 apartment units valued at more than $100 million in communities throughout North and South Carolina.
In 2021, Paul is excited to return to what he loves the most, fine home construction and renovations with his new venture, Barksdale Renovations.
